Selection Criteria for M&M Meat Shops Franchisees
At M&M Meat Shops, we strongly believe the success of our Franchisees is based on our extensive Franchisee
selection process, our continuous training and our on-going support programs.
In choosing Franchisees, preference will be given to applicants who:
- Appreciate the benefits of working on a team and within a proven operating system
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and have an appropriate command of the English language given the high level of communication required to speak with our customers.
- Are enthusiastic about M&M Meat Shops products and superior customer service
- Are familiar with, and involved in, the community where the store is located
- Actively work in and manage the store
- Have the funds to invest in the store, as well as the financial ability to survive the first year while drawing only a nominal salary
Because it is impossible to predict how long it will take for a new store to reach a sales level that produces
sufficient income for the Franchisee, preference will be given to those who do not rely on the income from the
store for living expenses. We consider an ideal situation to be one where one a spouse/partner continues to
maintain his/her job while the other works at the development of the business. When the store produces sufficient
profits, both spouses could then become involved and leave other jobs behind.
We encourage all interested applicants to investigate becoming an M&M Meat Shops Franchisee by contacting
current Franchisees. They are the best source of information.
