M&M Meat Shops prides itself on strong relationships with its strategic partners: the Franchisees. This important relationship is strengthened through open communication and dedicated leadership.

Advisory Council:
The Advisory Council is comprised of senior Head Office personnel as well as elected Franchisees. The purpose of the council is to promote open and candid communication between the Franchisee and the franchisor and to address and resolve general concerns of general interest.

Marketing Council:
The Marketing Council is made up of elected Franchisees and representatives from Head Office. The purpose of the Marketing Council is to oversee the expenditures and marketing activities as they relate to the Marketing Fund.

M&M Meat Shops Executive:

The following are members of the Executive and the Board as related to Franchising and Development:

Chairman of Board of Directors:
Mac Voisin, since 1980, Founder.
Vice President, Franchising and Development:
John Wissent, since 2006. Previously, John held the position of Vice President, Development with Regis Corporation.
Chief Executive Officer: James Petrozzi, since 1989. James’ previous experience includes marketing management with Schneider’s Foods and Green Giant. Vice President, Finance and IT: Ian Mitchell, since 2004. Ian has previous experience in senior financial roles in the distribution and manufacturing sectors.
President: Gary Decatur has been president of M&M Meat Shops since 2005. Previously, Gary held the position of President and CEO of Choice Hotels Canada. Vice President, Human Resources, Store Operations and Central Admininistration: Kerina Elliott, since 1991. Kerina’s previous experience includes personnel relations, training and development and academic administration.
Vice President, Legal: Robert S. Grant.
Bob has been a member of the Ontario Bar Association practicing corporate and commercial law since 1974.
Senior Vice President, Operations: Frank Phelan, since 1992. Prior to joining M&M Meat Shops, Frank was a product manager with Schneider Foods
